Pork breakfast sausage (without the bad stuff)

We all love good pork breakfast sausage, but we don’t want any of the bad ingredients like nitrates. Solution? Make you own! After you taste this you will know that it is well worth the effort.


1  pound ground pork (organic, free range)

1  teaspoon salt ( sea salt or Himalayan)

3/4 teaspoon black pepper

2  teaspoons sage

1  teaspoon thyme

1/2  teaspoon rosemary

1/4  teaspoon nutmeg

1/4  teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes


Mix in large glass or stainless steel mixing bowl and make into patties. Makes a great addition to any breakfast, and no bad stuff!
